The Ticket Group (ABN: 72 076 980 955 ) is an online ticketing service. Tickets are sold by The Ticket Group as an agent for the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS).
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using The Ticket Group to purchase your tickets. By using The Ticket Group online Site, you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you choose not to be bound by the terms and conditions, The Ticket Group does not grant you the right to use The Ticket Group and you must not use The Ticket Group.
Variation: The Ticket Group or the RAS may vary these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any variations become effective on posting. By making a purchase through this Site after the terms and conditions have been varied, you agree to be bound by the variation.
Public Transport/ShowLink Tickets: All ShowLink tickets include entry to the Show and same-day return travel on the Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity networks (bounded by Bomaderry/Nowra, Goulburn, Bathurst and Dungog stations), all Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan regular route bus services (bounded by the Central Coast, Wollongong, Newcastle and the Blue Mountains), Sydney Olympic Park major event buses, Sydney ferries (operated by Harbour City Ferries) and Light Rail services. 2-Day ShowLink Tickets: 2-Day Tickets allow one person entry to the Easter Show on any two days of the Show and includes return public transport on those two days. The 2-Day Tickets are not transferable; only the person who attended the Show on the first day may attend on the second day.
No refund or exchange on any ticket except as required by law or the Live Performance Australia code of practice and as otherwise specified by the seller. If a refund is made, The Ticket Group may, to the extent permitted by law, retain any fee it has charged.
You must be sixteen (16) years of age or older to purchase tickets. If you wish to purchase Sydney Royal Easter Show tickets but are aged between 16 years and under 18 years, you must obtain the consent of your parent or legal guardian to register a user account and provide personal information about yourself. If you are aged under 18 years, these Terms will bind you and any parent or legal guardian who gives their consent for you to purchase tickets to the Sydney Royal Easter Show via this website including all financial charges and legal liability that you may incur.
Entry may be refused if tickets have been tampered with or are damaged or defaced in any way or are not purchased directly from The Ticket Group or other authorised points of sale.
You must allow adequate time for collection or delivery of tickets. Methods of collection and/or delivery will be available when choosing your collection/delivery details. If the delivery method chosen is type ' Print At Home' it is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure they print the tickets and bring to the event for admission.
Prices in this Site include GST where applicable.
Where concessions are applicable, suitable and valid identification must be provided for collection of tickets and at the venue.
Ticket prices listed may already include or be subject to additional booking fees, transaction fees or delivery charges. Orders may include or be subject to a credit card processing charge. Fees and charges may vary across different methods of booking, including online, phone and retail outlets. The right is reserved to charge a fee for the replacement of tickets.
Non-Commercial Use: You may only purchase tickets to the Sydney Royal Easter Show via this website as a non-commercial consumer for your non-commercial, personal use. You must not purchase and/or use the tickets to the Sydney Royal Easter Show in a commercial capacity in any way (including but not limited to offering the tickets as prizes or gifts in a trade or consumer promotion/competition, raffle or as part of a corporate gift) without obtaining prior written consent from RAS. Tickets for the Sydney Royal Easter Show (whether purchased through this website or through other means) must not be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including but not limited to via on-line auction sites). If RAS believes a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.
Admission to Sydney Showground: By entering the Showground you agree to adhere to all 'Conditions of Entry to Sydney Showground' which can be found on www.eastershow.com.au or at the entrance gates and information points.
The right is reserved to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute artists and / or vary advertised programs, prices, venues, seating arrangements and audience capacity.
The right of admission is reserved and is subject to the seller's and the venue's terms of admission, copies of which are available from The Ticket Group on request. Cameras, audio and video recorders may not be permitted. The right is reserved to broadcast or telecast any event.
Scalping: Tickets may not, without the prior written consent of The Ticket Group and the seller, be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via on-line auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.
The resale of tickets in certain circumstances is governed by ticket sales legislation and may attract criminal penalties.
Rules of Attendance: Entry into the Sydney Royal Easter Show is at your own risk. Your right of admission into the Sydney Royal Easter Show is not guaranteed by simply purchasing a ticket for admission. RAS reserves its right to refuse your admission and/or eject you from the Sydney Royal Easter Show in accordance with these Terms.
RAS reserves the right to refuse you admission or to eject you from the Sydney Royal Easter Show in its sole discretion, including but not limited to any of the following circumstances:
RAS reserves the right to search you and/or your possessions at any time during your attendance to the Sydney Royal Easter Show (including but not limited to at the point of entry).
If RAS discovers that you are in possession of prohibited items, RAS may confiscate such items from you and, where such prohibited items are illegal items, shall contact the relevant authorities. Prohibited items include but are not limited to glass or breakable containers, cans or metal containers, weapons, lasers/laser pointers, flares, fireworks, illicit drugs, alcohol, weapons, knives, skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, bicycles, oversized items (including eskies or bags), animals that are not approved by the RAS and any other item that is determined by the RAS as posing a risk or may cause injury or public nuisance.
Any person gaining unauthorised access to the Sydney Royal Easter Show or any area within the Sydney Royal Easter Show may be prosecuted.
No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted within seated areas or enclosed spaces of the Sydney Royal Easter Show. You must pay attention to and abide by all signs and directions regarding the regulation of smoking at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Kids Day ShowLink Tickets: Kids Day is on Wednesday 23 April, therefore, Kids Day ShowLink Tickets are valid for Show entry and return public transport on 23 April 2014 only.
eVouchers: eVouchers do NOT include public transport or entry to the Easter Show (E.g. carnival ride vouchers, meal deal vouchers, reserved seating vouchers or Burlesque Sideshow vouchers).It is the bearers responsibility to ensure the eVoucher is kept in good condition, not torn or damaged as illegible vouchers may be invalid. Check the Easter Show website for the location of seating, outlets or booths to redeem the eVouchers.
